Detour — Brian Donovan and NZFCMA

The previous post, Concrete Dreams, pretty much covers my time in the world of ferrocement up to mid 1978, including tributes to a few characters I worked with and learned to admire over the four years 1974-8. This detour describes the NZ Ferro Cement Marine Association and its Journal of Ferrocement, which I helped to edit. It also includes an extended profile of one of the inspiring people in my life, Brian Donovan. One of these days I’ll move the story on to the three years we spent in the Solomon Islands, and more good people. But that’s it for now. ~ Ian
